This dynamic communications system comes complete with intuitive call handling combined with a variety offeatures that give you the efficient and flexible system you need.The system also supports a full line of system telephones, many with displays that show you programming and operation feedback. But don't throw that old telephone away, because the PARTNER ACS includes support for many single-line telephones. And you can connect many auxiliary devices, such as fax machines, answering machines, modems, and credit card scanners, to the system. The PARTNER ACS can operate in two modes, Key and Hybrid, and can also operate as part of a Centrex system. With the system in Hybrid mode, you can group lines into pools to provide easier trunk selection and simpler call answering. The PARTNER ACS supports a number of voice messaging systems, ensuring that incoming calls are always answered.

■ Caller ID provided to tip/ring devices. If your tip/ring device has a display, you will see the
Caller ID (if available) when you receive a call.
■ Absent Text Message to allow you to post a message (such as "Do Not Disturb" or "Away
from desk") on the display of your PARTNER 34D or PARTNER 18D system phone. When
another extension calls your extension, your active Absent Text Message appears on the
caller's display. Using this feature button, you can also view the active Absent Text Message
of another extension without calling that extension.
■ Network Time Synchronization to allow you to specify whether you want to synchronize the
PARTNER system clock with the network time delivered by your service provider over Caller
ID.
■ Hot Dial to allow you to set your PARTNER or MLS system phone to go off-hook and start
dialing a number as soon as you press a button on the dialpad.
■ Message Alert Notification to allow you to program a button on your PARTNER or MLS
telephone to see the status of another extension's message light.
■ Personalized Station Ringing to allow you to assign a personalized ring pattern to an
extension. Once a personalized ring pattern is assigned to the extension, all incoming
intercom calls to that extension ring with the assigned ring pattern.
■ Override Line Ringing to allow you to override the Unique Line Ringing settings for an
extension and set all incoming calls to that extension to ring with the assigned Personalized
Station Ringing pattern.
