Choosing Repair services is the best option. If you purchase a new phone it will be the same model so there is no technological advantage and it will come with the same one year warranty as our repaired telephone so there is no warranty advantage. One other factor is the life cycle which is controlled more by the environment (i.e. coffee spills and drops) than how well the phone was built. So, your repaired phone will most likely last as long as a new replacement. The standard repair warranty for a repaired Polycom Telephone is one year but please confirm this with your account manager.
